This is an archive of the band profile for Daljit Dhaliwal.

Daljit Dhaliwal formed in 2008 at Leeds University, when Joe Jerome Newman, Gwil Sainsbury, Gus Unger-Hamilton and Thom Green got together to play some of Joe's songs as a band.

They quickly started writing others, and gathered a close fanbase through their university circle and some raucously-intimate (?) gigs in the boys' living room.

They are currently working on their first EP in Leeds.

The name is taken from the famous British news reader of the same name..
