Kwame D perform a rich variety of rhythmic soul, World music, infectious blues and reggae stylings in roughly equal measure. Their music has its roots from Kwame's Ghanaian background, with influences from soul greats such as Curtis Mayfield, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Cartlos Santana mixed with the African style of artists such as Youssou N'Dour, Fela Kuti and reggae legends Jimmy Cliff and Bob Marley.

Kwame D are still touring across the UK but love to play locally in Leeds at their residency, The Owl Inn, Rodley..
